Tips And Tricks To Know Before Playing Words With Friends

The most popular word game out there, Words With Friends cheat download has been downloaded more than 100 million times and is played by millions of people all over the world. But how does one play this game well? And what are the “tricks” you need to know about in order to score big points?

Words With Friends (WWF) was first released on iOS in 2010 as an app that could be easily accessed via your iPhone or iPad. It was then ported to Android in 2011, where it quickly became the third-most popular game on Google Play.

As a card game, WWF works best when you have a few minutes to spare and can actually get away from work for a bit. So let’s see if we can find the tricks and tips that will help you become a champion!

How to set up a game with WWF

If you don’t already own Words With Friends, you can download it for free on both platforms, but if you want to play against other players online, you’ll need an account with either Facebook or Google Plus.

When you start a new game, you’ll be given the option to create a username and password, or simply use your Facebook or Google+ profile information. If you choose not to enter any details, the game will automatically assign you a nickname based on your Facebook or Google+ display name.

If you’re using your Facebook account, you won’t have to worry about entering in your password because Facebook is used to authenticate your account before the game begins. However, if you’re logged into your Google+ account, you’ll be asked to log in to your Google account during the process of creating your account.

You’ll also be able to connect your social media accounts like Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Dropbox, and even LinkedIn to your game. Once you do, you’re ready to start playing!

Once you’ve created your account, you can go back to the game lobby to begin setting up your deck. We’ll explain each section below.

1. Deck building

In the lobby, you’ll select the number of decks you want to use in the current session from the dropdown menu. Each deck contains different words, so you’ll want to make sure you have enough variety for all of your opponents. You can also change deck sizes in the lobby at any time.

After you’ve chosen your deck size, you’ll then be prompted to browse through the available cards. The default deck is a good starting place, but feel free to shuffle and reshuffle as needed to ensure you have a wide range of options.

Before you start playing, take a look at the “Cards” section, which lets you view your current hand, and the “Deck” section, which allows you to preview all of your available cards.

How to play a game

To begin a game, tap the “Play” button at the bottom right corner of the screen. Then, tap the “Start Game” button at the top left corner once you’re inside the game.

You can swipe across the game board by swiping with two fingers on your phone or tablet, or tap the letters in the upper-left corner of the screen to move around the board on your computer. The game uses a letter-by-letter scoring system, so you should keep track of who has the high score.

Each player gets three turns to make their first move. During your turn, you’ll be given a choice between choosing a single word to play or selecting from the entire deck. Once you’ve made your selection, you can hit the “Play” button again to reveal the selected cards. When you make your final selection, you’ll need to swipe the “Done” button to confirm your move.

At the end of your turn, you’ll receive feedback regarding the strength of your word. As you gain experience, you’ll be able to improve your word strength and increase your chances of victory. On the next turn, you’ll be provided with additional feedback regarding your word’s strength.

When you’re done making moves, you’ll be able to save your progress by tapping the “Save” button. To return to your saved game later, just tap the “Load” button.

Tricks to winning

Here are a few tips to help you win at Words With Friends:

  • Don’t give up after losing your first game.
  • Build up your vocabulary. Don’t worry too much about spelling your words correctly. Just focus on getting as many of the same letters together as possible to form a powerful word.
  • Use the dictionary feature to help you spell your words properly.
  • Be patient and try to plan ahead.
  • Make sure you’re using the correct rules.
  • Play multiple games at once. In fact, the more games you play at once, the better chance you have of winning overall.

How to cheat

If you’re really feeling bold, you might want to consider cheating in Words With Friends. Cheating in the game isn’t easy, though, since most of the tips above require a little bit of planning before you begin playing. Instead, you may want to check out some of these simple cheats.

While they aren’t foolproof, here are a few things you can do to increase your chances of success:

  • Create an empty deck.
  • Hide certain cards from your opponent.
  • Change your deck size to allow you to use more or fewer cards.
  • Use a different deck instead of shuffling your original deck.
  • Press the “Replay” button to speed up the game.

(By the way, I’m not saying you should cheat. There are plenty of reasons why cheating is bad.)
